Sorry to disappoint!

My Mom just called to remind me that I’m keeping our “adoring public” waiting. Waiting on the “big news”, which really isn’t that big (well, to Jeff and I it is – Wes is now standing on his own!), more photos, and Max and Wes’s 12 month appointment stats/highlights. We’ll start with those since we are majorly proud of our little dudes.
Max -
18 lbs, 7.5 oz // 29 inches “tall” // head circ of 18″
Wes -
19 lbs, 3.5 oz // 29 inches “tall” // head circ of 18 1/8″
So, they are a little small for full-term 12 month olds, but for 10 month olds, they are kickin’ ass and taking names. Dr. B was CRAZY impressed at how amazing they are doing – both with their physical development and their motor skills, “language”, understanding, etc. Max actually showed Dr. B how he can wave “bye bye”, and Wes stood on his own for about 5 seconds. I was so proud!!! Jeff had to work during their appointment, so I took my two best guys out for their first ice cream to celebrate THEM – they looooooooved it.

Thanks Dear One, Your father & I were certainly “crazy impressed” with Max and Wes last weekend. And the next time Max wants to call his grandmother you should just let him. I’m SURE it wasn’t just random.

Every time I look at pics of Max and Wes, I’m blown away by their cuteness…but there’s something else too. And just now I was looking at these most recent pics and it came to me….that bond. You can already see that something beyond special that they share with each other. Their souls mesh…you can totally see it. Beautiful~Amazing!

Those pics brought tears to my eyes to see how far these little guys have come….you guys should be so proud of yourselves with helping them grow into the little boys they are!

What a fun party! It makes me simultaneously happy for you and sad that my boys are turning 12 months 4 months from tomorrow! Wha?!?! Right now they are wrestling in the superyard while I read about sleep training for naps. Joy! I hope Max and Wes are having as much fun out west!
