The Long Lost Christmas Photos

Published by Kerry | Filed under Family

After trying for as long as we did, you tend to think you will never get to take family Christmas pictures (among other things).  Well, the day finally came and the results are nothing but spectacular.  Seeing these pictures of our boys, my beautiful wife, and I makes me so happy we decided to go through all that we did in order to have our family.  As much as it sucked to have to go through everything we did, I now realize that Max and Wes are the two babies we were meant to have (and I am not really a “things happen for a reason” kind of guy).  Thinking back on all we’ve been through these last few years, I almost cried looking at all of the amazing pictures of our little family earlier tonight.  We are (finally) so lucky to be the proud parents of these two wonderful little boys.

Saturday afternoon we had our pictures taken by our good friend Kari (K23 Photography).  The boys had a few wardrobe changes and in typical Max and Wes fashion, did not cooperate 100% of the time.  However, when they did cooperate, Kari was able to get some amazing shots.  Now I know I am a little biased when it comes to my boys, but damn they are some good looking kiddos!

And now the moment you have all been waiting for…

Those are wonderful pictures! You have a beautiful family! I love the picture of the boys with the striped hats…that is just so precious. Thank you for sharing your story on this blog. I really enjoy following your story.

What a beautiful post about a beautiful family!

My husband and I marvel at our almost 10 month old son often, feeling so lucky to get to experience this. Since we have severe male factor, IVF with ICSI has created our miracle son and daughter (on the way) that otherwise would not be here.

    We are all beyond blessed.

so cute! i can’t help it, but my favorite one is the brother-eating-brother one. :) but seriously, they’re all great. next year, i can pretty much promise it’s not going to be as easy to get such a great family picture.

How adorable!!! These pictures turned out great! Kerry, thanks so much for the offer you wrote on my blog to let my husband and me stay with your family while we cycle at CCRM. We are about a year away from starting that process, which seems like an eternity to us, but it is great to live vicariously through fellow bloggers who have reached IVF success! Thanks again! :)

Amazing pics. That Kari is one fantastic photographer. And the Elf Christmas card will just put anyone in the mood. I think about last Christmas when we (you) were trying to keep those little guys in mommy for a little longer. What a wonderful 10 months!
