I would not spend a lot on high chairs by the time they are 3 they will be sitting in boosters not high chairs! They actually have boosters that have trays on them....Paige has one and each grandparents house and they work great. The trays come off when they are ready and then they can just sit at the table like big kids (Paige is already doing this and she isn't even two yet)The booster ones are only $20-30 depending on which one you get! The high chair we have was $60.00 and I think that was a lot. We got it as a gift so it wasn't a big deal but if we were buying it ourselves I would have gotten a cheapo one! Hope this helps!

...and #2 is great b/c it will offer M&W a little stability until they can sit up fully on their own (they can lean on the sides). I would not recomend the brand you have pictured- the seat is too shallow...

Go with #2. We used it for Asher and LOVED it. I never felt it was unsafe, and I liked it because I felt like he was closer to the table. You won't be taking them on and off every day, so I wouldn't worry about that... save yourself some $$, and go with #2 (which you can get in red).

I do not have an experence with #1, but we have #2 for my moms house and I do not like it at all. Like another poster mentioned, there is a gap bwtween the table so a lot of food falls on the floor.

I also find it is hard to keep clean, food is always getting stuck to the hippo on the arms and in the cracks of the seat. It also does not work with every table.

Neither. I would NEVER spend $150 on a highchair..nope. And I am not a fan of the ones that clip/clamp on to the table either. I would save yourself some $$ and just get the $40 First Years ones that strap onto a chair...and then you've got a highchair and booster all in one. In my opinion there is really no need for a traveling highchair...restaurants have highchairs and who wants to lug more crap around when you don't have to right?

You aren't going to need high chairs until they are 5 years old. By three they'll be fighting you to sit at the table on their own. Definately #2.

Mean! Even I would go with the "need" in this case. There will be plenty of other "wants" down the road that will make sense to spend more $$ on. And anyway, the "need" one is still pretty cute (but not as cute as the Tripp Trapp...). Love you!!
