A long time coming

Today was the day I have been waiting for ever since Jeff and I started trying to have a baby.  My baby shower.  I would say “Our baby shower”, but everyone knows that the shower is for the mommy, and the daddy is just the guy who gets to help load the car up with gifts.  Today was amazing.  I almost think I will have a hard time putting what today meant to me into words, because it was just so damn perfect (even being in the hospital).  Perfect.  My best friend in the whole wide world, my sister, Kristy, and the girl who I would have never thought I would be so close to and love so much, my sister-in-law, LeAnn, seriously outdid themselves this afternoon.

Unfortunately, I’ll have to tell you all about it tomorrow, as the nurse just came in my room and gave me strict orders to get some rest so these contractions slow down.  The boys and I had a really busy day today, and  man – am I feeling it!  Good night, all.
