Pictures from our embryo transfer!
Published by Kerry | Filed under Uncategorized

Here is the ICSI process. This is Kerry's egg (the circle in the middle) being fertilized with one of my sperm (in the hollow needle on the right).

Here are the "Super Seven" Day 5 blastocysts. These are the 7 best embryos out of the 11 that were fertilized. The cells have split hundreds of times at this point.

These 4 embryos were not 100% fully developed so they were not chosen as any that would be put back in (or frozen).

This one is a little difficult to see, but this is the actual transfer of the embryos back into Kerry. In the middle you can see 2 white circles and then a faint white line trailing left to right at an angle. The 2 white circles are air bubbles that are placed around the Embryos so that you can see them being transferred on the screen.

That is so cool that you have such early pictures of your babies (and they are already cute!)! I would definitely frame them (or put them in a scrapbook)! I’m so excited for you guys!!
